Niue

Mark and I had fun watching the dinghy get lifted out of the water
By Conrad
When we got to Niue, Mark and I had a lot of fun watching the dinghy getting lifted out of the water.

Then we went up a hill into town. We had the best rodes in the world and then went to find our friends. Then when it got dark we went to the Crazy Uga café  and I had a hamburger. The next day we saw whales. The we rented a car and the next day we went to an all-you-can-eat café.

  1. How come the dinghy was being taken out of the water?
I'll bet that hamburger tasted good....it's probably a nice change from all the fish you eat but not as good for you as the fish.
Did you eat a lot at the all you can eat place? When I was your age when I went to that kind of place the restaurant owners lost money on me because I ate so much.
What kind of whales did you see? How many different kind of whales have you seen since you started this trip?
    Love you,
    Nana

    1. Hi Nana, it's Conrad. The Dinghy had to be lifted out of the water because the shores in Niue are all rocky, and the dock is pointy, so if you go there in a boat, you have to haul the landing boat out. ( You don't have to haul the dinghy out of the water if you want your boat destroyed). I ate a lot at the all-you-can-eat-café. The desert ice cream was good, but the cupcakes- nah. When is your next trip to Bonaire? I hope we can see you soon!

    2. Thanks for the explanation about the dinghy.
I don't know if we're going to Bonaire this winter because everything is up in the air right now. We'd like to come visit you but New Zealand is a long way away.
Did you read my comments to your other blog?
      Love you,
      Nana
Tell Mark we think of him a lot and wish he would write something once in awhile.

  2. It all sounds very cool. I am glad you have become such a good swimmer and snorkeler. Maybe some day we will get to do it with you because zI like to do these things also.

    Love to all, Grandpa TE
