Go pets no pets and more pets
The other day we let Hermity and Crab Claws go. When we let Hermity go, he looked like gel. Maybe it was because he was still molting. Mark's was red (Mark's above). We were very sad to leave them. Now I want a fish! At noon Dad played volleyball. We were in Georgetown.

Caves today
Did you know that hermit crabs can live in caves? Today we went to two caves. This what the first cave was like: it was a deep cave, it was an active cave, and like most caves it had bats. This is what the second cave was like: we saw 3 hermit crabs, even more bats, and there was a second cave underneath.
This is the biggest ghost crab we have caught. He was not happy to be captured.

The gyroscope car
This is our gyroscope car. We made it by putting a gyroscope in a Lego car that we built. It has a Lego board with a point in the front. Then we got a string and tested out our new mechanical car. It uses the gyroscope to propel it forward. The farthest it's gone is one foot.

At the beach by Conrad
This is our river. We call it the great seaweed river. We were going to make it a sinkhole but we made it the river. A bunch of sand fell in. We made quicksand too. This is the way we made it: water came in and we stirred up the sand. There was a part we fell in because the water got deep quick.

Fish and other creatures
Conrad:
We made a little aquarium. This is how we made it: we ate all the pretzels, we put sand in the jar, and we put some water in the jar. I used a net to catch crabs. Mom caught a puffer-fish looking thing. We brought the crabs and the little fish back to the boat. A few minutes later we let the fish and crabs go.
Mark:
We made a fish home. We made it so fish could swim through it. We thought the fish would like it.
